The primary role of the Club Support Officer and Programme
Co-Ordinator is to support the No Name Clubs in your allocated region.
KEY DUTIES INCLUDE:
ADMINISTRATION
* Ensure the provision of training and support for young people that
builds on the current mission statement and delivers positive health
messages and outcomes for young people.
* Ensure GDPR compliance and systems maintained
* Ensure the implementation of club support systems that cut costs
and deliver efficiency in training delivery
* Manage an effective record system of all club developments &
outcomes in the region
* Liaise with the NNC office as required
* Liaise with all other relevant agencies/service supports to
maintain stability and enhance NNC reputation
* Maintain/update training records for clubs and volunteers in the
clubs you are responsible for.
* Support planning, operation, and participation opportunities for
clubs regarding regional and national events.
* Any other administration tasks as directed by the operations
manager
TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT
* Delivery of core organisation message with a health promotion focus
that empowers young people, strengthens youth voice & participation
* Engage with our young people and use their insights and voice to
create equal, inclusive, diverse and sustainable responses & programs
in line with Better Outcomes, Brighter Futures, the National Policy
Framework for Children and Young People
* Deliver NNC training framework/programs and develop training
packages
* Liaise with other services to ensure alignment and development of
NNC value proposition
* Identify appropriate training add-ons and coordinate cost
effective training/development opportunities in line with policy &
sector guidelines
* Monitor, review and report on all new training inputs/outputs and
outcomes
* Identify and promote new club development opportunities
* Any other training and development tasks as directed by the
operations manager
THE PERSON:
ESSENTIAL
* KNOWLEDGE OF POST
* Solid understanding of the role of program delivery, youth work,
and knowledge of youth services
* Experience of program development and health promotion training
* Good understanding of the ethos and values of No Name Club
* Good understanding and awareness around the issues arising for
young people with regard to alcohol use, drug use and substance
misuse.
* WORK EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES
* Previous Volunteer management experience relevant to the post (3
years minimum).
* Previous experience of working in a volunteer-led organisation.
* Previous experience in Administration, Project Management and/or
training program development
* Experience of Youth Work and working with Youth towards better
outcomes
* Excellent Leadership skills and ability to motivate those around
them
* Have demonstrated Initiative and ability to think strategically
* Communication & Teamwork ? excellent verbal, written and
presentation skills - (interpersonal and intrapersonal) skills
* EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
* Major Award at 3rd Level (NFQ Level 6 or higher) in Youth Work,
Health Promotion, or a similar qualification
* Full & clean driver license required
